Thank you for the video! When you attach the ears you also sew them. How do you sew? (just the edges or along the bottom of the ears? Thank you

@@AmandaPiacun thank you for watching! When I attach the ears to the headband, I used a little bit of hot glue in the center to attach it, then secured it even more by hand stitching along the edges. It makes them sturdier.

Enjoyed the video. Can you tell me how you closed up the ears to get from the stuffing to the attaching phase (around time stamp 16:42). Did you glue the ends closed on the ears, or sew them shut?

@@EdgemoorARPChurch thanks for watching! And great question…I do a very light glue to secure it shut, then go in with a bit of stitching to make sure it’s secure. When gluing, I try to stick right to the middle so it doesn’t ooze out too much. Otherwise it’s difficult yo go in and stitch. I find that the stitch plus the embellishment ribbon makes it very secure. Hope this helps!

I am making a set of ears, using your example. Can I say you are a wizard with that hot glue gun, mine are not as neat as yours are. I am crafty but my glue gun skills are lacking😆. Can you tell me which gun you are using? Thanks for the tutorial.

Thanks for watching the tutorial!! I’ve been making ears for a while and have figured out the glue gun. It wasn’t easy at first…or pretty! Haha. I’m using a fine tip hot glue gun I bought from Joann’s years ago. I recommend the fine tip and a gun with hot temperature. Some have medium and it just doesn’t work as well.
