How does one take care of this style of clothing without ruining it? Also, what is your favorite type of material to work with? And your favorite style? You are definitely talented and fantastic job on your orders. I’m so binge watching your videos. You seem like an awesome, authentic person as well and your personality makes the videos marvelous along with your skill.

Hey Cara, Thank you for watching my videos and checking out my channel. My channel wouldn't have any meaning to me without inspiring viewers like you. I really do appreciate you taking the time to write out this comment. Those are some really great questions! I have washing instructions I usually include in all my orders which I dont mind sharing. My top recommendations for upkeeping and washing instructions for this type of clothing are follows: always wash in cold water, most recommended to hand wash and hang to dry, or simply put cut clothes in clean pillow case and tie closed in washing machine. I also take the precaution of securing my designs with needle and thread. Always take your time to cautiously and carefully put on clothing as not to rip anything. My top materials to cut on are 100%cotton and 50% cotton /50% spandex. As for my favorite style, the possibilities are endless when choosing a cut style so its very hard to pick just one but at the moment I'm really enjoy Destressed style and an intracite interlaced diamond design Ive been practicing. Cut Clothing is so amazing because there are so many styles to suit many genres of people. There really is a style for everyone. It brings me so much joy to hear you like to binge my videos and only inspires me to keep improving and producing even more videos for you to watch. That is so kind of you to say and makes all the hours of scripting, filming, cutting, and editing all worth it. Thank you for noticing and appreciating. Covid-19 has left me quite uninspired at times and not as motivated, but comments like this give me strength and encouragement to push forward. Please don't hesitate to reach out on Instagram or Facebook @harleyschopshop or email me at harleyschopshop@gmail.com and share your DIY projects with me! I would love to see what youre working on. Even if youd just like to chat, Im always just a message away. Thank you for supporting a local California artist and female small business such as myself. I appreciate you and your lovely comment. Thanks for watching, Harley

@@cara9919 Cara, If you send you email, I can send a copy of my detailed instructions. Of course, you're welcome Cara. Sharing is caring! Like the saying goes "teach a man to fish and he'll be fed forever". I feel the same about cut clothing and passing knowledge on to others. Im finally at a place and have confidence to where I embrace sharing my knowledge to share to enthusiastic and aspiring generations who truly appreciate the potential beauty in everyday things such as tshirts. I haven't always been comfortable sharing in that way befoew. Cut clothing gives you a whole new perspective on everyday clothing to make exactly how you like. I appreciate your compliments and it is so special to be seen and acknowledged for my craft that I've been practicing for years. THANK YOU! You're work can become just as amazing with persistence, patience, and practice. I believe you can do it and anything you set your mind to. Where are you watching from? Feel free to email me any more questions you have and I'd be more than happy to feature and answers in Q&A during a new KZbin video. Im always available for Zoom lessons if you'd like to take your craft to the nect level. Or even just to chat, I love to hear from my friends online and their adventures and projects. It is my goal to continue improving and coming out with new designs for some upcoming videos. For people like you to take the time to comment, it just really makes my day and gives my life some purpose. I'm so stoked I have a new stack of clothes from my small business friends at @supportgoodtimes and @thebohemianconcept so There should be plenty in store for you and thank you for your continued support. It means the world! Thank you agian for taking the time to let me know. Thank you, Harley

@@HarleysChopShop i sent you an email. You are right! Sharing is Caring! I havent cut clothing before, but I have sewn lots of items. Honestly, I have been looking for videos on upcycle of band tees and old shirts. Couldn't find any good ones for like a year and yours is by far the best. Have any idols that does this style of clothes?

Help if I was needing just a long string of this material to weave some color into something like this how would I get a long piece?

Where can I find this material in tank tops at a low price to do this cut and tie method on? Is this just spandex or can you use other materials?
@HarleysChopShop3 жыл бұрын
Dear Sarah Castelle, If you have a wholesale & buisness license, you can buy wholesale for a cheaper price just have to look around what companies work for you. If you plan do this with tie Dye, you usually need 100% or high percentage of cotton for ink to work & stay. Be sure to test all your materials with tie Dye inks cause it doesn't always take. Only certain materials will tie Dye and/or cut, so always test your materials before you invest in buying a lot. If you don't have a wholesale/ buisness license you can always purchase some affordable stuff on Amazon or Ebay. Be very cautious with materials you buy, , I've purchased a lot that didn't work for me. Do your research and test samples before moving on to larger quantities. Hope that helps. Sincerely, Harley

Did you chalk it inside out and then turn it right side or did you turn it inside out to weave to hide the sewing?
@HarleysChopShop3 жыл бұрын
Dear Kelly C, I usually chalk the inside of tee so final product I don't need to clean the outside of tee. If I do any chalk on outside, it was just to add any cuts so viewers could visually see. I always Weave with outside of tee showing and hide any sewing on inside of tee. Hope that helps!

what kind of material is this and where do you buy them?
@HarleysChopShop2 жыл бұрын
Hey Kayla Smith, I highly suggest any 100% cotton/ cotton Spandex material to work on. My favorite place to buy these materials was from American Apparel now owned by Gildan, but as long as you're material is right you can pretty much cut any piece of clothing.
