A little tip. Sand down your surface to be burned to your final grit then burn the board. That way you don't sand out all your fine burned lines. Your way loses all the fine detail.

Hi, I am curious about how you made sure that you don't use a rubber pad under the board. Recently, I bought a fractal burning kit that generates 15,000 volts of electricity. Every video I have watched on this process, suggests using a rubber pad with a kill switch in order to prevent shocks. I noticed that you placed your wood on gravel. Do you use a kill switch? How do you prevent accidental electric shock when using your fractal burning equipment?

Can you cut on the board and it won’t affect the resin?
@scaryjerry4665 Жыл бұрын
It will. Epoxy makes a poor cutting surface. I'm sure he just forgot to mention that 😉

The result is amazing! Can you please tell me what did you spray the wood with at 07:35 and at 12:35 ?
@carrierussell92242 жыл бұрын
7:35 is probably just water to get the dust off to check his progress. 12:35 is likely a food-grade mineral oil to protect and condition the wood.

I work with epoxy resin as artist, and I saw that this method is rather dangerous (using a very high electricity tension) so you have to be very careful doing it. It's not for everyone 🙂
