Hi guys, this Video is today nearly 4 years old. I have developed further and I’m a kind of aquascaper. Please have a look at the newer videos. PS: The LED Strips, which you can buy cheap from China, do not have the energy efficiency like professional LED lights. But then there was not much in the consumer market.

Wieviele Meter hattest du verwendet von den 5630 ern und den 5050 ern? Ich hatte jeweils 5m aufgeklebt, aber es ist viel zu dunkel. Bei dir sieht es so hell aus. How many meters have you used of each led stripe, 5630 and 5050? I've glued some 5m stripes, but it's not bright enough. At your tank, it looks so bright...

This is probably the only video about this controller not in German! I've ordered this unit and still waiting for it to arrive, in the meantime my 5050 RGBW strip is here and I've chopped it up to around 144 LED's. I worked out I need around a 1.25A adapter @ 12V but will this be sufficient for the controller itself? Does it need a driver, or will a standard 12v adapter suffice?

Hi Blank. Can you tell me on wich Windows version you programmed this controller? Becasue I had my tc420 hooked up with Windows8.1. But the device is not recognized. No correct drivers :-(

I'm using Win 8.1 on a desktop PC and for uploading to the controller I'm using an old Win XP notebook. I save the config file on a USB stick.

In the meantime, I've replaced the DIY LED Strips with 2 Aquatlantis Easy LED lamps. The DIY 5630 Strips do not have enough lumens.

I'd say it depends on the lights you have and if they are controlled I know the tmc aquaray are fully controllable I had a tile one before I'm actually selling it and a controller wink wink 😉 lol

Alright!I have the 5m LEDs multiy fictional fade dim.onyhe control ect haven't in staled them.yet!but looking to do what is done here!what have u got can you explain it to me?

electric water I have a kessil at the moment I can only control it manually but the light is amazing for corals the other one I have is the aquaray np 1500 ocean blue with the controller you can set them from 0 to 100 % to ramp up and back down both channels being controlled so all whites or all blues different intensity and such it's just not got the par for growing sps corals good for starting out but not for my needs I'll do a video on the kessil later for the Craic

john Doyle ya do so I'll get a better understanding of it,I'm only starting with LEDs.have the normal t5 bulb's so want to up things a bit!so is blue and.White the only colors on them!

electric water no there's lots of colours depends on the unit you buy the spectrum for fresh water plants would be a lot different than for coral

Can you contact me with a copy of the program you created for this simulation. It will work perfectly for my 30 gallon tall and my shrimp tank. I ordered two TC 420's and will have them in a week. I am using 5050 RGB strip for the colors and 8520 Cool white and 8520 daylight rigid strips for the white. Your simulation for dawn and sunset as well as cloud cover was amazing! Cheers, Sean
