DIY Deck BUILD From Start To Finish - Part 1

That's right! Another build! If you have been following us for awhile now you know we plan on building a garage this summer and plan on siding the home but are waiting on materials. In our previous video we finished up the hemlock shiplap barn boards on the main room of the interior. For now we have decided to build a deck on the front of our home that will eventually become a fully screened in room, but for now will give us a spot to have a drink and look out over our new lawn we are creating.

Ohhh building with that generator running. That sound brings back memories from my last homestead. We Built the house and the 36x50 2 story garage before we had hydro plugged in. No electricity no running water for 6 months. That generator was very loud.. Was such a relief everytime we would shut her off lol thats going to be a nice deck all around the house wow

I do like Ashley's boots, I am sure that will make a lot of people happy that she is wearing good work boots. I know early on so many people cringed when she work flip flops to work in. That deck will make your lives much better I am sure, now you can enjoy the outdoors without worrying about any mud and all that. Great stuff as always.

awesome deck. that will be nice this summer.. i would recommend installing joist brackets before you put the decking on just my opinion it will save you headaches down the road ... love your channel keep up the great content GOD BLESS

you should plant a little chicken grass in the enclosed with them and maybe extend it a little so you don't have to worry about predators snatching them and eating them, ducks are awesome egg layers also.
