Cut one of lining this same size? Also, what is the measurement of the finished straps so I know what size of metal rectangle to buy for the straps? Thank you! It looks like a fun project and I'm trying to gather all the materials I will need.

Hello. Yes, you need one piece of lining fabric this same size for the bottom. The finished straps' width is 2.5 cm. I'm glad you like it! Have fun making it and I hope you will like your new backpack. Thank you 😊

Yes. 1 pair of big size jeans. The light colored parts are the wrong side of the denim.

The back panel of this backpack is the same size as the front. You can make it out of two pieces of fabric or just cut out one piece of denim.

Dear Didi, should I add 1cm seam allowance at the paper pattern when I cut the front and the back?

Hello, Jolande!😊 No, you shouldn't! Seam allowance is included in the paper pattern, but when you cut two parts of the front panel you need to add 1cm at the bottom of the upper part and 1cm at the top of the lower part to sew a zipper for the pocket. You can see white lines there in the video. ⚘️❤️

Nicht der Rucksack ist zu klein...Der Ring von Boden und Reißverschluss passt nicht an die Aussenteile.

You are right, Andrea! I've just looked at my pattern. The bottom+sides together 67.5cm (29.5cm bottom+ 22cm +22cm sides - 6cm seam allowances). I made a mistake when I was editing the video and wrote that the bottom together is 51.5 cm. I am so sorry about that😳. I will correct that mistake.
