Moldable plastic is great for border molding and re-lining. As long as the food you eat is below 150 F, it will stay firm. No chemical smell and easy to make correction again and again.

The gum material is available as white beads. Polymorph is what it's called.

Thanks I been considering one of these. I have been making cold pour dentures. This looks like alot less steps. I do have an articulator. Your saying heat softens up the acrylic.

Check out "Easy Dentures" which my kids have ordered for me. Have tried other ways and I think these new ones will be great.

Do you know whether you can use these if you have some of your original teeth

You could make partial that would work. What he is making is full denture. So this wouldn’t work for you. I don’t how you would make the bracket you would need to hook them to your teeth.

Hello Kenneth. Could you update us on how your DIY Dentures fit. Thank you for the how to video. Good Grief, Dentures from a lab are too expensive.

Hello. As to date I haven't finished lower yet because three teeth need to be yet removed. The uppers came out nicely fit needs a little more tweaking. I had resent shuttle a customer where I work he makes dentures. The dentist make the molds and they make the final product. What they charge for the dentist dirt cheap. The the dentist mark them up $5 to $6 grand for their bells & whistles. And becomes a monthly mortgage payment just so you can eat & $mile again.

@@kennethhough3251 5 or 6 grand? I got the absolute top of the line non implant dentures for $1600 top and bottom. I could have gotten a cheap set for $500.

its almost like used car salesmen there is a lot of opportunism for how much they can get out of people desperate to smile and chew!@@kennethhough3251

The dental labs work on a small profit margin and do the majority of the work. The high cost of dentures is due to the professional fees tacked on by the dentist.

Good luck with DIY dentures.Im a Dental Tech.with over 50 years experience.Making a proper set of dentures takes a lot of skill and steps from proper impressions to set up to finishing.I realize dental work and dentures are not cheap and feel sorry for a lot of people who can't afford them.Trying DIY dentures is tempting but probably won't be the answer.

I wish I could tell you the answer.I live in Canada and people who are on welfare can get a new set of dentures every 5 years for $30.00. The government now is putting in place a dental plan for all low income families to help cover the cost of dental work including dentures. Hope something like that will happen where you live.

The ones I tried about 2 yrs ago were a mess. Spent a week on them and never got even them to add the teeth. I discovered "Easy Dentures" last week andmy kids have already bought them, and these are only ones I'd consider after the mess I've been throwing ugh with no teeth from r seven years.
