Very nice desk and it's perfect sized, too. I'm not a highly skilled woodworker so this is a stepping stone project because it has a drawer. At first I wasn't too sure about the color but it turned out great. Good luck to Grace on the hockey tournament. Thanks for sharing.

Nice desk. She will love it bc it came from you. My Grandfather built my computer desk for me when I was around 17yrs old. I still have that desk & I'm 53yrs old now. He built me a dresser & a wagon that I slept in when they brought me home from the hospital. I still have them also. Every piece of furniture he's made me , I still have. It means a lot to me, bc he made it for me. I hope Grace will keep every piece of furniture you've made her. And she will hang on to them & remember everytime you made a piece of furniture for her. I can see my Grandfather's passion & the big smile on his face when he would give them to me. Oh how I miss him. But I smile w/each memory of him. What happy times we had. Thank you for sharing & bringing back those memories of my Grandfather, Chris from Missouri

Thank you Ana for another useful DIY build video! Quick question: How far is the set back between the back legs and the base support? (STEP 2:Attach the 2x2 base support with 2-1/2" pocket hole screws, pocket holes are on the bottom hidden on underside.) Be well!

her room is sooo adorable! i love how mature the color scheme is but still has that youth vibe in there with her bed and desk and the pictures! everything really balances out and she can easily grow into her room as she gets older! also, just a thought, but i i'm not sure if she does have a door to her room? i haven't seen one but maybe it's hiding? lol but if she doesn't, it would look cool if you guys just gave her nice white curtains that are nice and full to give her some type of privacy, and add hooks to the walls so she can drape them to the side and make it look like a nice grand entrance to her room! again, just a thought! (: either way the room already looks so nice and ties together very well! so jealous! hahah

Cute Ana, you’re amazing as always ;) you know... I wonder if an angular cabinet or shelving unit (Ana Built of course ;) would work on your slanted walls?! Or even did like a book shelf/night stand included that followed the angle of the wall on both sides of her bed?! The other thought too, because you’re not busy enough 🤦🏽♀️ (sorry I can be too “thoughtful” at times ;) is adding like a French Cleat system on either the doors of the cabinets against the wall that you’ve already built for storage ya know? I love the idea of incorporating such an ingenious organizational system that woodworkers use in a bedroom but of course jazz it up by making special holders, shelves that your daughter can change and adjust as she grows out of things, the other place it’d be neat is the brand new closet divider you just built but facing her bed? I’m silly but I love how you implement literally the most unique/ingenious storage solutions in your builds and I’d love to see you put your own twist on a French Cleat system
