Car came out great!! I just received my bottle of the DIY Graphene and will be installing it on my Black 2015 Mustang this weekend.. I have yet to see it installed on a black car so Im hoping for insane gloss :-)

Hi, enjoy your videos very informative and well done. I have couple questions, leveling and buff towels, do you throw away or wash for reuse? Second, what detailing cart would you recommend? Thanks.

Thank you my brother. Yes for the towels of leveling and light buff you can re use them meaning right after you use it dunk it in rinseless wash. I have never had issues ever. But if you are nervous you can degrade them to wheel towels after so you at least get double usage. Typically after coating I dunk them in rinseless. Wash the towels 24hours later and use one more time for a coating job then degrade them to wheel towels. Detailing cart? The black one is a sonic detail cart from obsessed garage I modified it to also have my pressure washer and hose reel. The cart is very expensive but heavy duty had it for 2 years already. As for the gray one it’s the mckees Carolina cart

Yes it works great for textured plastic and trim. You can also put it on glass as well. I prefer not to coat plastic trim anymore I prefer to use solution finish then over the top as the textured plastics can get sealed then in the future when you want to restore the plastic it may not accept the solution finish dye. Just my two cents 💪🫡

I have asked a few people if I could put this coating over TW graphine flexwax. I have been getting mixed answers. What do you think.

Hey Dini. Yes I can answer that for you. The answer is no 👎. You can top the coating with TW Flex wax but not the other way around the coating will not bond to the paint but the TW Flex Wax. Just to keep it simple you want to have the base layer with the longest protection on the bottom and then top it after with any Sio2 of your choice. Example: say flex wax is meant to last 8 months on car paint in the most perfect conditions. Then you apply the coating that 3 years or more on the car. You’re actually just applying it over the Flex Wax. Meaning after 8 months the coating won’t be on the paint because it was bonded to the TW Flex Wax. Hopefully this makes sense 🙏🫡

Any idea on the cure time for this coating? Even on DIY’s website there’s no mention of one. Surely it has to cure for at least a few hours.

Cure time ideally is 8 hours. But what’s special about their coatings after 2 hours it can get wet with no issues 👍. But ideally the longer it’s left after install the better. Yvan has said it on their videos that it can get wet after 2 hours if push comes to shove and shouldn’t hinder performance. 👍

Does Ceramic Gloss as a Topper to this this add even more Gloss? Say maybe equivalent to the 5 yr coating that is DIYs Gloss Coating.

Ceramic gloss or quick beads on top of any of their coatings will give it a tad bit more gloss than it already has 💪. In a nutshell yes it will boost the gloss a tad bit more.

Hey. The coating in it self doesn't feel heavy it's just like 90% of the coatings out there. Just a liquid and applying onto the paint.

Gyeon for me never truly lasted here in my area. I would go over this one this far. And so far after close to a year it's still performing like day one. I think next year it'll be gone. But that's what I look for in a 3 year coating on a daily driver. 2 years and you're a winner

@@SunSandAndSea I got ya with the Canada and it being white cars. This is a quick hack. If the graphene is the issue to help with water spots. I like to spray quick beads on the vehicle. To give it about 2 months of protection with the water spots and help it resist more. That’s an option as well.
