how do you keep the trim from fraying? sometimes i use rope and it aways unravels. but it looks weird if i use tape

On the first few pairs I made, I noticed that I would sometimes get some fraying of the trim on the ends where I cut it. I started to put a little hot glue on the ends each time I cut it and so far that has worked pretty well to stop the fraying. Hope that helps!
