DIY Display Shelves

Don't underestimate the simplicity of these DIY shelves. The visual display on them is just so fun! They have definitely brought some needed life into our art room.
This was a, "I'll just figure it out as I go" kind of project, and somehow it came together just how I envisioned!
I am sure there are plenty of ways to fine-tune this design and make it your own, so let me show you how I did mine and then you can go create yours!
What you will need:
(1) 4x8' underlayment - cut (4) 12" x length of wall
(1) 3/4" plywood - cut (4) 12" sections
(5) 2x4's - cut to the height of your wall
(4) 2x2's - cut (32) pieces 11 1/2"
