You could have scored the trunk off of the tree. I've seen it done on youtube. If you go over it enough it pops right off. Kelly Barlow of Kelly Barlow creates scored hers all down the center of the tree to make a three D tree. Yours is absolutely amazing. Very cute. I didn't know about the little tree. love what you did. You have an amazing talent. I know I am going to enjoy your channel. I just found it through a calab not long ago.

The smaller tree is from dollar general and thicker wood. I would have had the get my husband to cut off with his electric saw. I wanted to provide an idea to viewers who do not have that option. 💕

I love the Buffalo check, HOWEVER, my stuff is all pinks and shabby chic style and it's not almost impossible to find ANYTHING CHRISTMAS in the "pink buffalo check". Now, if I can ever get my hands on some of the craft paper or even fabric or wrapping paper in the pinks, that would be so wonderful! I've got my eye on a tablecloth (I think that's what it is) in the pink gingham but I'm on a disability budget {which is basically invisible lol} but Im gonna buy that as SOON as I can squeeze it into my budget comfortably!

I just ADORE buffalo check EVERYTHING. I’ve got pillows and am looking to add all kinds of decorations and decor this year. The more the merrier, I say. These are wonderful! How I missed this video last year I’ll never know! Your solution to making a taller tree with two, is brilliant. Also the Jenga pieces for the base. Years ago I cut out wooden trees and did nothing with them because I don’t have a base. I was thinking I needed to go into the garage and somehow fashion one with a groove in a board etc. Pshht! Silly me, just look at you! The red/black buffalo check and the red ticking are my favorites. ❣️
