I need this so badly for my ribbon stash! Right now they are in one of those $Tree stackable bins and when I dig around in it I knock the whole stock over! Love this!!!!

Oh, I know what you mean about losing things in bins. In case you haven't seen the other ribbon dispenser for big ribbons that I made, I also have a video on it so you can use this for smaller ones and that for medium and larger ones. I would use a rubber eraser cut in half and put it on each side of the stick so that the stick will stay in one spot not slip out. Very nice idea. Now I have to go to the Dollar Tree!

+LifeAt50&Beyond I also decided that the extra rolls at the end can still be useful too, I'm putting red and white together on one end and feeding them together through one hole for double ribbon bows. you can pull them together or singly. Omgosh this has helped my crafting so much!

First I would like to say. I love your channel! I first watched your video where you added the washi tape holder to this caddy. This so very nice and such a great space saver. I don't trust command hooks. I would be afraid I would come home one day and my beautiful caddy would be on the floor. I think I would use the over the door hooks that they have at the dollar tree. I'm going to make 2 of these and hang them side by side on the back of my laundry door. Gonna use contact paper that match the decor in my laundry room. Thanks so much for your beautiful ideas.

Hi Maria, thank you so much for your kind comments. It really helps getting feedback and input from viewers on how they tackle my DIYs. I hear you on the command hooks. You cannot put anything over the weight limitations. I also use the over the door hangers on the other ones that I made because they are heavier. What I do with command hooks at times, depending on the surface, I use hot glue gun to reinforce them. Dor example, the hooks I used on the side of our vinyl shelves, I reinforced with hot glue.. You can also use heavy duty picture hooks if you prefer to hang the caddy on the wall. They sell them at Walmart or home improvement stores. I really like this idea! I would probably use water bottles instead of toilet paper tubes, though, as they are waterproof, and perfect to store paint brushes and the like. Plus, they'd be more sturdy, and less prone to accidentally tearing.

I have a suggestion. On the dowel rod you could melt a hole into a bottle cap and push it flat side towards the container onto the ends of your dowel rod to keep it in place. Or use a binderclip.
