This is so cute! I like both of them. The decor possibilities are endless. I think I would paint the styrofoam dark green or brown before gluing the moss. What about excelsior or even shredded paper? I cut my ribbons and fabrics with pinking shears to stop the fraying, esp. for fabric garlands. Worth the investment. I bought some cookie cutters to use as templates and with fat quarter fabric bundles from Walmart, I made some stuffed hearts, bunnies, sheep and eggs. I hand sewed them with perle cotton but you could use glue. And then I pinked around the edges about a quarter inch away or less. I am thinking about making a large bunny with the pink gingham fabric when I find an appropriate paper pattern to download. Sweet Daisy Creations hauled bunnies just like that in various gingham colors from Hobby Lobby (?) and I figured I could DIY for less. Add a bow and tail - good to go.
