I dearly looooove your awesome projects. They're the most unique of almost all crafters on youtube! And your slow moving hand motions are very soothing. Now I have a suggestion to make the videos even more appealing to some of us very serious crafters and decorators: It is not necessary to spend time showing the pieces that you're going to be working with or to point out with your finger where you're going to paint or glue or stick the next thing. That honestly takes time away from the natural unfolding of the obvious work. We can see what's happening as you are clearly and gracefully doing it. It is also more rewarding for viewer to see things stuck together in a dash and a magic flash rather than showing us the entire draggy gluing process. Same with the painting process. Dont have to. Show us so much of it, just clearly show us the main steps to the process. Just some tips on making a potentially more awesome series of videos, dear one. Not about speeding up the videos but eliminating the repetitive and the boring parts. I'm am an art teacher, I watch tons of videos over the years. I know my students watch tons of videos too because I'm in a position to hear what many students complain about. I like honest client feedback so that I can perfect my skills so I hope you like my comments to you. It's just professional courtesy that I share my suggestions with you. 😃 I love your crafts! They are lovely and unique.

new subbie here! (someone from Bargain Bethany's page recommended you, BTW) love this. of course a) i will have to watch it 10 thousand times and slow it down as i attempt this b)my galvanization (lol) will not look that good and c) i doubt i can get it all glued as well/straight (never do) BUT i am seriously going to try this if i can find all those materials. Did you have to prep the metal to get the acrylic paint to stick?

No I didn’t have to do anything for it to stick I would recommend sealing it to make sure it doesn’t chip off

Thank you! Hot glue is quicker for videos & I some Times reuse some of the supplies but if you want a permanent hold then a combo of glues would work best
