I might use e6000 in addition to hot glue for added strength.

Anyone that's doing any sort of fine painting should go and get a nice.set.of.cheap.paintbrushes. from Acmoores or Michaels. For a few bucks and a coupon, you can get a stiff set with small ROUND tipped brushes. You will want one small ROUND, one 1 inch flat brush for coverage and 1 medium sized filbert, that is a rounded flat brush. You want the brushes to say Acrylic paint...the brushes are stiffer which if what you want. NOT oil or watercolor brushes because there to soft and limp right over. Those 3 brushes will help you out for crafts, just clean them when done and lay flat to dry or hang to dry with the BRISTLES FACING DOWN, NOT UP. you dont want the water staying in the barrel because it will loosen the glue and bristle will fall out. If you cant clean them right away then leave them in a SHALLOW cup with water just up to the bristles. NOt the wood handle or barrel. YOur aim is just to keep the paint wet on the bristles to clean asap. I paint, so this should help the crafters.
