Hey guys! Today I'll be sharing some DIY dollar tree and upcycled outdoor decor, diy front porch decor, diy patio decor, diy summer decor, diy spring decor, you name it! I picked 10 diy outdoor decor projects, but I will have all the videos that correspond linked below. There are several dollar tree diys included at the end that I will link below, so make sure to save them to your must watch playlist.
I love showing you how to make budget friendly home decor pieces that look high end. For the most part, I stopped shopping home decor stores like home goods, Pier1, TJMaxx, Ross and others. Being able to transition home decor season to season and change up decorating style is important, but it doesn't come cheap!
Decorating for every style and season, while having a high end look can be difficult and expensive, especially if you have a tight decorating budget. In this video and all DIY videos, I show you how to give your home and every space in your home a boost with DIY decorating projects.
Don't be afraid to step out of the Dollar Tree shopping hauls to accomplish this. Dollar tree budget friendly decorating is my favorite, but you can find inexpensive home decor pieces or supplies for do it yourself projects at other places like Goodwill, Habitat Restore, shopping clearance sections, using coupons, yard sales and Facebook Marketplace is a great place to find free stuff!

I think the coated wire mesh is actually gutter guard for rain gutters. 😊

I'm not sure if you know this or not but you can make your own chalkboard paint in any color you'd like. When you used your plaster of Paris and reminded me. You would mix 2 tablespoons of plaster of Paris and one tablespoon of water until it was smooth. Then you would add three tablespoons of any acrylic paint and mix well. 😁

Oh my God it made me laugh when you said it fell out of the back of your car and you ran over it. It reminded me of a time I went to the thrift store and bought a bowling ball. I live in the mountains and I was in the grocery store and my sister open the back of our station wagon. Yep you guessed it the bowling ball rolled out proceeded to roll down the mountain down the highway and she had to chase it. Oh my God that was funny and yes she did end up getting it

Araceli, I like the window and shutters. I do something similar, as the balloon w/plaster paris. I wrap a regular balloon, a little more densely, with crochet cotton. Then I hang it in the shower and poor liquid starch over it. After it drives and I break the balloon, I cut an opening, in the front and decorate it with Easter grass and bunnies or chicks etc. Its amazing what you can make with balloons.

You are so good at what you do. I love the wood in it's natural state on the frames and shelf. These are all beautiful. I never would have thought to use plaster if paris, I've made a much smaller one and was the worst looking thing I ever did see. I'm going to try this. Thank God the tree fell on your shed and everyone is safe. Your baby girl is just beautiful, she looks just like her Momma. Thank you for the inspiration on outside decor.

Thank you! I love the natural look too, I thought they looked great together. Good luck with the plaster! What's crazy is that we didn't even hear that enormous tree break. We saw the fence get blown down, but the tree we didn't notice until the next day. I had my kids sleep on the other side of the house that night. I appreciate your awesome comment.

I'm soooo in LOVEEEEE with those flowers {or whatever they actually call them}.... I soooo hope our DT has them. I don't buy "florals" or any of that too often because that's one craft that I've never really tried too often so I'm not ever really sure what to buy and when I get to the store and see the whole display staring back at me, I just get overwhelmed and can't think of ANYTHING specific that I want or need. Lol. {if I buy any of it, it's usually just an assortment of "pinks" and then I get home and none of them actually make sense together. Lol. But this particular these little bunch of flowers or whatever they are lol just SPEAK to me for some reason! They have ever since the first time I saw someone haul them! And I'm glad you mentioned going places other than the DT because "all Dollar Tree's are NOT created EQUAL!" LOL there are sooo many things that our one and only tiny, dirty little DT just NEVER has. And we can forget about getting the "Crafter's Square" section. They barely have room for regular stuff. 😕 So there are just certain things that we just HAVE to figure out how to make using our imagination and the thrift store {or I actually shop my own HOME more times than you can imagine lol}. But I'm almost 51 and have been crafting for at LEAST most of my adult life so I've got quite a stash of items collected over the years. But STILL, there are certain things that ONLY the Dollar Tree has so it's frustrating when we go flying there just to discover that what we want is not there, nor will it EVER be. 😢. But the hubby said he would take me to one of the closest stores with the "CRAFTER'S SQUARE" section soon so I've gotta figure out the best location and THEN find out what day they get their shipment so we go on a good day since it will be probably an hour away. OK. I'll shuddup now. Lol. {I'm cracking up at baby girl saying "okayyyy" when you told her to take the sticker off} lol. #adorable

Yes to other projects using items from other stores & second hand yard sales other find items. I have seen cute decor made from dt & thought if it was taller/ wider a little different it would be perfect of course you make amazing things & i love watching you. Loved you're little pretty lady worker today. The wire is used to cover h.gutters so it's supposed to keep out debris & such when installing the mesh is a upward angle u. I can’t decide if the frames made with jenga blocks & mesh is my favorite or the frame & shutters. I like the idea of the frame & shutters for inside & the other for just outside my door as I live in an apartment with our doors inside. It would be cute on each side of my entryway & change the flowers/foliage for each season. LOL I know of 2 Habitat for Humanity here in Portland, one in north Portland & the other by Mall 205. Just not easy when ya use a walker & mass transit. May have my son take me sometime when he’s home & has the time.

First she is growing so fast. She's adorable. I liked all of them, but i really liked the shelf. Please feel free to step out. Love updos and trash to treasure. Before i forget your mesh is used to cover gutters. I love to go to hardware stores and habitat to get my supplys. My favorite place though is curb shopping.
