DIY DOLLAR TREE | WASHI & NAIL POLISH RACK | ORGANIZATION & STORAGE

Hi everyone, thank you for watching my DIY DOLLAR TREE | WASHI & NAIL POLISH RACK | ORGANIZATION & STORAGE video.
Here are the items you will need:
3 Foam Board - Dollar Tree
Exacto knife - Dollar Tree
Ruler - Dollar Tree
Pencil - Dollar Tree
Duct Tape (or embellishment of choice is optional) - Dollar Tree
Glue gun - Walmart
Glue Sticks - Dollar Tree
Scissors - Dollar Tree
Instructions: Approx time 45 mins
1. Foam Board #1 - Make lines 5 inches apart (5 lines total).
2. Foam Board #2 - Make (7) 2 inch lines and (7) 1 inch lines.
3. Foam Board #3 - Make (2) 2 1/2 lines vertically.
4. Use exacto knife to cut all lines from boards 2 & 3.
5. Glue the (7) 2 inch strips on lines from board #1.
6. Glue the (2) 2 1/2 inch strips on sides of board #1.
7. Glue (7) 1 inch strips on the 2 inch strips to create a lip.
(if using duct tape, add it before step #7)
8. Once done, lean on desk to display or hang with command strips or screws.

You could use straight pins (like for sewing) to pin the shelves and sides in as well, the hot glue over it to increase stability.

I made this and I can confirm this is Great. It took some time but I did it. I bought 2 of the duck tape and put them on the side boards and the lip. I doubled the 2 inch peices cause I wanted it to be sturdy for nail polish.

Very creative! You should get a square or a T-square to use instead of that baby ruler. It will make it easier to cut too.

I showed this to my 10 year old. she's my nail polish collector. she collects hers, mine, her older sisters polishes lol. she loves this and begged me before she left for school this morning to please make it. so I am going to try it today. one question: what is the weight you used for the command strips? I have some 4 lb strips left. is that enough if I use 3 or 4 pairs? I will use them as well as nails just to make sure its secure. I think our walls are on the weak side. this is wonderful. out of a simple foam board. this is amazing. love it.

does the nail polish get too heavy for the rows? Seems like foam board would not be sturdy enough over time

Camille Drayton it holds really well. There's been a couple times that I accidentally bumped my hand into the shelf and all I had to do to fix it was reglue it. Otherwise it holds an entire row with no problem 😊
