DIY Dorm Room Headboard for $50

Hey everyone! I know how expensive headboards are, here is an easy and inexpensive project you can do by yourself or with a friend. This headboard I made for a friend, but I also made two previously for myself and my roommate. I can make another video on how to do the legs, but for transportation reasons I will be adding those on once I arrive to my actual dorm. If you can have questions feel free to ask them below and I'll answer! All together this costed me about $50!

It’s a good idea to sit on the board as you’re stapling. Your bodyweight will compress the foam and when you’re done the foam will rebound and pull the whole thing super tight and consistent.

Great video and great ideas. I made this for my daughter and it turned out awesome. I'd recommend skipping the glue however, and just staple the foam to the board. Also, I got a crib quilt at a thrift shop and used it instead of yardage and thereby skipped the cotton batting too.
