DIY Dream Home Build- ICF Walls on the Main Level

We are going to be breaking ground this Spring with our ICF home in MO. I love your 8 x 9 kitchen window! I am wanting something similar as we will back up to an 8-acre lake view from my kitchen! I am thinking maybe a slider-type pass thru window with a bar on the outside. Where did you find your large window? TIA!!

Congratulations! Thats amazing! Your idea of a large pass through window is fantastic! Our windows will be in this next week (we hope) so I will share more about them when they come in...but our large window is a row of four picture windows above another row of four single hung windows (so it will look like eight windows )

I am starting my ICF home in July and have to ask about the bracing you used. did you find somewhere to rent it? I'm wondering if you have the contact info, hard to find it for rent. And by the way I love the job your doing on your house, and what a positive attitude you have. Please keep the videos coming because they do matter to alot of us.

Thank you! We rented the bracing from a friend of a friend. It was actually very hard to come by and most rental places were booked out for more than a year. Best of luck on your build!

Are you going to make the roof gable ends ICF or go with prefab wood roof trusses for the entire roof?

We used wood trusses including the gable ends (we did not build ICF gable ends).

Why an imaging project . You should be greatly proud of yourselves .. I am in the process of doing the same though I do have some questions .. would be possible to have a conversation please ?
