lovely!!! i had an idea too about the beads - if the ones in craft shops are a bit too pricey for your budget, charity shops sell bracelets and necklaces for £1,00, that can be chopped up or unraveled for this lovely crafty idea;also, if you havn,t got string for the frame, you could use left over wool pieces, thick wool would be quick too. i like the way you show the steps slowly, too.really helpful. thanks for this, and hope to see many more crafty ideas from you soon!!

Great video! To make it easier use a yarn or upholstery needle. Put the needle near the middle of the working yarn or string to make pulling your string through only half as long. Also if you use a button when you make your knot at the end it can be knotted more timeswithout it showing. :)

I would suggest starting of with string the same way you would as with the feathers, but instead of tying a feather to the end you can attach a chime :)

nice! you do a different way than i learned, but i like it! I will definitely try out the string approach and colored threading-cool idea!! I have used suede lace & actual sinew for the web, but i love to see different style's that people use and different materials used. so cool! thanks for sharing this.

yeah of course you can use a wooden ring, and the rope around the ring is just so the 'web' section of the dreamcatcher doesnt slip and slide, but you dont have to use it. :)

To stop the wall moving effect, go on to video editing and uncheck auto-stabilise or anything to do with stabilising as this is what youtube does sometimes when you check that. x

Can we use a wire as outside ring? And what did you use for both inside and outside string? Was it sinew or wool thread?

If the wire is strong enough to hold the shape it should work but wire is generally easy to bend so I would not try it

Ok, what's with the funhouse effect? By the way, as a native american, i would like to say good job on the tutorial. For those who would like a more authentic look, never use any metal, and try for leather wrapping and sinew string. Good job.
