This is gonna sound like a weird compliment but you're one of the few diy you tubers that not only explains everything but you do it in a way that isn't irritating love it

Wow, this is a great tutorial! I bought a whole bunch of clearance duct tape at work just to make some fun wallets and I can't wait to try this out. For people concerned about RFID scanners, embedding sheets of aluminum foil into your panels is a great, invisible way to protect cards with chips in them. Also, if you want to avoid the hassle of using packing tape for the ID panel, grab and cut up a zip lock baggy. :)

hey Jamie! I loved your idea and I did it! It came out beautiful and decided to make more to sell them. Two of my friend bought them and my aunt. I sold them each at $12. I think that's a good price because I spent a lot of time and a couple bucks on them! So once again... I thank you!

This was a pretty simple tutorial and exactly what I've been looking for. I keep buying all these cute duct tapes and haven't made a single project yet! I think this purse will be my first. :-)

I'm impressed, I have to be honest. I'm a very creative person (it's just that mine are more along the lines of electrical engineering or modifications), and when I saw this title in the channel, I instantly thought of my exes sister who made a cheesy wallet out of gray duct tape. The designer print you used, really makes a difference here. Of course it helps that you have all the measurements ready as well. I would just tell people that duct tape does lose it's grip over time, and if you expose it to heat, it can slide and shift. Good job, they need to put you in a REAL shop, with REAL materials, making the REAL thing. You certainly have the brains for it, not to mention the styles.

this was my first time creating with duct tape, or anything of this nature. A lot of tape was used for this, and I learned many ways it did not work out well, which resulted in a lot of laughing. #JOY Thank you!!! I am excited to watch other videos from you; and see what amazing ideas my inner child comes up with as well...

you are sooo good. i learned from this. nice duct tape techniques! i could really use this as a technical director to make props. and all this time, i've been putting them down as markers for stage management. really creative!

You are absolutely fantastic, easy to understand, easy to follow and just plain fun! I instantly became addicted to your channel this weekend. I've made several duct tape wallets and even did the duct tape tote. One questions... on your clutch, how did you trim the rounded edge? Keep up the great work. Thank you!

how do you do the trim for the semi-circle? great tutorial :)
@doitjamie9 жыл бұрын
I cut the flowered semi circle first, just eyeballing it, before using it as a template to cut an identical black semicircle. I then cut the black semicircle from end to end in an arc about 1/4 inch wide. When finished, I stuck that arc "strip" on top of the flower semi circle's border. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

Here in USA they got lots of colorful duct tape, and I brought one of them and it cost about 2 to 3 something dollar but not biggie because it kinda big duct tape which will last for about 1 month
@caitlinmizell45179 жыл бұрын
If you want to get a good deal, they sell duct tape at the 99 cents store and the duct tape worked perfectly! If it says three dollars on it thats a lie, its actually 99 cents. The only thing is that the duct tape isnt as thick as regular duct tape, but it still works like normal duct tape:).
