DIY DYED VAPORMAXES! -No Skill Needed- Full Tutorial !

Hey Guys!
Today I will be showing you how to dye your Nike VaporMaxes with RIT fabric dye. This is for any age & any skill level. The things you will need are: sneakers, acetone, water, a bucket, RIT dye & gloves.

This is the only clear video i found. I have a 2 year old pair of white and blue air max 90’s i want to keep the blue on and dye the white grey so i can wear them without being petrified of them getting dirty and cleaning them.

How does the fabric dye have an effect on the rubber sole? Does it not scratch off after a while? I can't see how the dye would work on rubber.

The dye can be used for most synthetic materials not just the labeled fabric. Also no it would not scratch off as the dye penetrates most of the way through the material.

Ive also used rit dye on plastic disc golf discs and it works great and doesnt come off even after being thrown into a tree lol

also if you try this make sure its a synthetic dye, unless your shoes are cotton and leather then a traditional dye works best

So, I don't understand why mine didn't turn out. Granted, mine aren't brand new and mine are red(Flyknit 3's) but I used black dye. Neither the back and toe nor the bubble bottoms were even touched, even being submersed for 30minutes. And now I just have REALLY REALLY dirty looking shoes.

And i dont want to hear no noob jokes from the peanut gallery on here!!!! first off what is the point of the nail polish remover second i am literally addicted to Vapormax's i just got my 23rd pair (the green/gold ATL pros) (and no im not rich lol just lets just say im thanking the us government for all those stimulus checks lol) and i love the pros the best and i have a few all whites but i want to do a baby blue but im nervous because im afraid that the airsole and/or the plastic upper wont dye or will come out spotty so have you had any experience with dying the vapormax pros and could you do a video?thank you

I have black vapormax utility with neon outsole wanted to paint it all black. Did you use the same dye to color the air units? And does the dye stays permanently or it dissapear through wear? Or is it better to use angelus sole dye? Thanks!
