Great video and I'm amazed at your ability to freehand those vines at the top. Looks very nice. If you don't mind me sharing something I found probably in a tutorial video, for me cutting corners on thicker leather, like you use, is easier with the japanese style skiving knife you have. Just hold it vertically and anchor one side of it on the cutting surface (flat side facing the leather), then just make thin triangular cuts following the curve by pushing down the knife on the leather as you move your leather piece bit by bit after each cut. Then just finished it up with a sandpaper like you did and you get near perfect curved outside corners. It works better for me on tight curves where using a scalpel is tricky. The balm for the chisel is a good idea, I'll try it out, it should help with the chisel getting stuck sometimes. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the next video!

Tha k you so much. I truly appreciate the tip, I have to do that next time. Cutting the corners will be for sure way, way easier. I am always happy to learn. Thanks!
