Was this just southeast of Long Beach /Belmont Shores? Yes the total riding time with your big 20Ah Lipos would be interesting to evaluate the efficiency of our jet....

San Francisco Bay. Don't have good numbers on efficiency yet. Need to add some logging. Curious about your jet efficiency too.
@elevateinflatablee-foilpro74557 жыл бұрын
yes we are taking of with about 3,5kW at Peak value with the jet...But we have a special foil profile that start flying very early and is much more stable at low speeds than your LF...I think with the LF Foil it would be around 4kw or more... With propeller we managed to take of with 1,7KW. I assume you need about 2,2KW for takeoff? What are you values for riding at about 20mph? facebook.com/www.elevate.rocks

Inspiring! What kind of ride times are you getting?
@pacificmeister7 жыл бұрын
Last run was maybe 20min and batteries were maybe half. But I crashed and swam after my board a few times so not constant riding.
@Kitearmy7 жыл бұрын
Mate that is crazy - so your suggesting possible 40min run times. My brain exploded. Keep up the good work.

Anyone considered using a 6hp lawn mower motor? Noisy and more bulky but much cheaper, less fuss and huge range.
@mjp08157 жыл бұрын
Max Maker, yea, I am thinking two stroke, 20:1, blue smoke and no muffler.

:-) Or go the whole hog and make a steam powered one, towing a hydrofoil barge for the coal and shovels!

Can we purchase the 3D CAD files to print ourselves? I would love to try and build one of these myself.

Awesome Guys! Was Don filming you from his efoil? So smooth! How is the ESC heat without water cooling? and you still using HobbyKing 130A?
@pacificmeister7 жыл бұрын
Don has totally mastered it. Never gets wet anymore, unlike me haha. Yes from his Jetfoiler, smooth camera and most important no wake as you would get with a chase boat or jetski.
