To help keep your collar flat during stitching, you could iron on wash away stabilizer. After the embroidery is finished, just swish the collar in water to dissolve the stabilizer.

there are some you stitches that you can use. for instance a back stitch to create a continuous line. there are lists on line that can show you if you would like to continue with this type of work. But I must say.. Love your work. Keep Up The Awesome Work!!!! 🥰😍🤩

This is beautiful and so clever. I have a very small hoop that I think would work for this. You can buy different sizes of hoops. I bought this at the Stiche Niche shop in Lexington, KY. Unfortunately it is no longer in business, but I bet you could purchase one on Amazon.

Lovely simple design that added a lovely touch to your fabulous find. Starting hint to save knotting your thread at the beginning of your stitching. When starting your first stitch thread the needle with the two ends of thread. Pull the needle from the back of the fabric to the front of the fabric leaving a loop at the back. When you push the needle back through the fabric pass through the loop. This eliminates the need for a knot. Lovely simple design. I’m not sure how to access it as I believe it has been removed.

You don't need to run the stitches twice to make a continuous line. Instead, you should do a simple back stitch. Regardless, it turned out beautiful!

You should sew some swimsuits for fun! I just tried it and I also have a brother cs60001 sewing machine! I recommend a ballpoint needle with polyester thread and stitch number 3! For some help, you should watch the video by the essentials club or the channel called edge water avenue. They have a free bikini pattern! I also recommend Etsy or raspberry creek fabric to find some affordable swim textiles! I hope this helps😃❤️

Are hand embroidered pieces machine washable? If I do this I’m thinking of maybe adding some fusible interfacing to the back to protect it
@erose6996
@erose6996 3 жыл бұрын
Yes they are washable. Interfacing is a good idea.
@RoseryApparel
@RoseryApparel 3 жыл бұрын
I would probably hand wash it (I hand wash all of my handmade clothes), but using fusible interfacing is a good idea 😊
@corriemcclain7960
@corriemcclain7960 3 жыл бұрын
I do. I've embroidered a number of my clothes and machine wash all of them. Interface is very helpful for light weight fabrics, but I haven't found a huge difference for things like denim. Hope that makes sense
