DIY Empire Dress/ LDH Scissors

I made an Empire Gathered Dress. I bring you a step by step tutorial on making this empire waist dress with a slit and puff sleeves as seen on my tiktok. Hi and even better on the front skirt piece I mark the center with a notch so you can just drop a straight line down and cut the skirt on the fold removing the slit entirely

I am only 5ft 2" so this is miles too long and no shorten lines given. The additional pieces do not line up properly. I want to use a border print but without correct information this is not possible. Lovely dress, but toò much information missing.
