While I don't make journals, so many of your tutorials show items I can use for the many cards I make. I'm going to include bookmarks in some cards ... long envelopes like these with a couple of pieces of plain or lined paper inside, because we often want to make a note to ourselves while reading and don't have paper handy. I made some with junk mail window envelopes like that, too. Thanks for the inspiration!

I think the best part of junk journals is the creative paths it leads you to wander down. Example: After watching this, I practiced folding using pages from a catalog of patio furniture. To my delight, I found that varying the orientation of the images created an abstract art look. Because the catalog paper was thin, I glued images to newspaper. I love the end result: a glossy abstract look on the outside, matte print inside. I'm busy quickly creating a stash.

Hi, I need to let you know your sewing is so good now, I can remember when 6ou first started you said you had never used a sewing machine. We’ll just to let you know I have been sewing for many many year and exactly how you started I did at the age of ten so I would be able to see how much you have learned on your own. I can see you have a love for sewing and with your artistic skills you would make a really good seamstress. You are just a joy to watch and you are so forgiving of your work but you don’t need to be.
