Beautiful!!! When do you put the casings in after the bottom is sticky or right after your pour?

This might be a dumb question, but when your putting the piece through the planer, how do you know when you're done?

Whenever the leftover epoxy and wood are totally flat

Beautiful. How deep are your first and second pours and what epoxy is this? Also do you fill your bullets with anything first? And what is the color and brand you use? Thank you. I’m a beginner

Base pour was about 1/4” inch and clear was 3/“4”. So end result the board was 1” thick. I use superclear and ice epoxy. The pigment is black diamond pigments blood red

Great video, when did you place the bullets in place? Was the epoxy still wet or did you wait until it was tacky? Thanks 🇨🇦

Thank you! I let the red layer cure then placed them in with CA GLUE then poured the clear layer

Did you sand the red epoxy before doing the clear epoxy? If so, what grit.

How did you avoid any snipe on the epoxy when running it through your planer? That would be my biggest concern.
@jaredcoreyconcepts9 ай бұрын
This board is only 18 inches long, snipe is basically non existent
@scottbennett85049 ай бұрын
I’m getting snipe on my entry which is making the board length irrelevant. Any tips here?? Thanks!

@@scottbennett8504 do you have infeed and out feed tables?
@scottbennett85049 ай бұрын
No. What are those?
@jaredcoreyconcepts9 ай бұрын
Trays that attach to the infeed and outfeed of the planer; it reduces snipe and keeps everything running flat as possible.

Something I don't understand is, Why people like to eat resin? :/ It is common sense that when you start chopping on a resin board, little pieces of resin in go to your food. Why people likes to eat that? And I say "like", because there are so many examples of people making or using resin boards, that I don't see another reason..... It's crazy!
