Try mixing in some white ink with colors and also white dots beside colored dots 👍. You are very close. These are very pretty 💞 P. S. It's easier with alcohol inks 😉

Thank you so much!☺ I thought so about the alcohol inks, maybe I was not getting it right because I was not using alcohol inks. But I don't have them. I guess they make things easier but can be done without as well. I'll try mixing white in the colors the next time I do it. ❤❤❤

@@CharmsDIY You can make them. Take the inside of a colored marker and place in some alcohol. Let sit for a few hours and put in a dropper bottle or use a medicine dropper. White can be done with pigment paste 😉 Just shake before each use

@@toughtimes6596 Really!! Can I use permanent markers? Also does it need to be isopropyl alcohol? If so, I will try making some in the future. 😁

@@CharmsDIY Yes, permanent markers work best. I would think even resin pigment would work, any ink does. And the higher the alcohol content, the better so it has less water which doesn't mix well with epoxy. I make all my own alcohol inks now, it's so much cheaper! Even dried out markers still have pigment left, and the longer they sit, the stronger the ink. I have even used printer ink to make them 😝

How long do you wait for resin to thicken up?
@CharmsDIY Жыл бұрын
For the background layer, I waited for about 40 minutes or so. It was over 40 minutes.

A black background might look quite dramatic too.
