I reached out to My Craft Club and was informed the lamp takes AG10 batteries. They included a photo for reference which is of 3 of these batteries, they are small button like batteries. They advised the batteries should be available at local craft stores or electronics shops

I got the batteries today and while it appears you can fit 4 in the slot it actually only required 2.
