Having now made two of these awesome things, I would recommend making the lid ever-so-slightly larger, otherwise it becomes a little troublesome to put the lid on the box--especially if you embellish the lid with ribbon. 5 1/8" seems to work and fits snugly enough. THANK YOU for the inspiration! This was perfect for Mother's Day!

I bought a large colored poster board (2 actually I did black and red) and cut the 15X15 out of the poster board. It may not be the best option, but it does the trick just as well for those of us that can’t find the 15X15 card stock. It’s also a lot cheaper, as a 22”X28” poster board is only about $0.70.

Shely Arzivatania ,this supplies are DIY you just need: -gift wrapping paper -A4 colored paper -liquid glue(if you don't have glue gun) -ruler -some small wooden clip -pencils&eraser( in case you need) -some decorations like stickers/ribbon As for the center decorations (if you don't have that little bird thing, you can replace other things like flowers)
