DIY Fake head Halloween prop

Time to get ahead of the game with this fake head Halloween prop!
In this episode we take a break from the regular makeups and instead create a super cool prop head to decorate your house with during Halloween.
The DIY Fake head Halloween prop tutorial is easy to follow and all you basically need is some water colours, hair extensions and a styrofoam mannequin head. Flicking on the wet colours in layers will give the head a very natural feel and skin tone, no matter what colour you want it. It keeps it from looking painted on.
Use the fake head in the garden, put it in a trash can and film peoples reactions or simple scare your guests by putting it in the fridge hehe.

It’s really sad, that now youtubers are struggling with their content demonetized. Especially whenever it’s a challenge like this. This channel is probably one of the most cleanest and helpful channels for SFX, or in general. It’s stupid, that people who curse over and her again in there video, or make “horrible” type videos are able to keep up and running and getting money just because of their popularity. Whenever channels like these and being told their content isn’t ad friendly? It’s sad, that great channels like these are feeling forced to do something that I am sure they never wanted to do or think they would have to do.

KZbin cut our ad revenue, we can't afford food haha. Nah it's the Studio fridge. Constant echo in there. Sometimes there is left over food, but that's very rare. We usually just keep our head cool in there.. :p

jenalario i don't think they're being punished for not displaying ads, they want advertisements. Ads = money. The issue is that they're getting demonitized because they're not considered 'advertiser friendly'. Its happening to pretty much all 'creepy' youtube channels that include fake gore/sfx make up and true crime. Its ridiculous and really sad.

Why are they flagging your videos? Did KZbin give a reason for flagging your videos? There's another KZbinr that I watch who had a similar problem. To fix it, he reached out to other companies with similar interests to the content he makes, worked out an agreement with them, and placed ads for those companies in his videos. Those companies then pay him some money for the advertising that they get from his videos. Maybe you could do something like that with your videos. Maybe reach out to different sfx makeup companies and see if they would be interested.

Right now it's a matter of making ends meet. We're not getting rich on this. Materials, studio, equipment, food, rents and life is costly. We'll try to keep this running free for as long a we can though :)

Ellimacs - I totally get where you are coming from. My videos keep getting flagged too. It's horrible that subscribers may have to miss out - we do this for them at the end of the day, but equally, we can't live on fresh air :(. We have bills to pay, just like everyone else, and so much work goes into creating videos, that there is little time left to have another job on top. It's becoming a real problem for so many creators - and then, in turn, the subscribers as we cannot produce the content they love. I really feel KZbin should find a better solution, instead of just cutting off loads of hardworking creators. I'm trying really hard not to be too despondent, but it's soul destroying when we work so hard, and they keep blocking us :( x

JUST A HEADS UP no pun intended but if you're going to do this make sure whatever spray you use doesn't contain acetone! Regular spray paint does and so does some spray hair color(most cheap Halloween ones do) if the spray contains acetone it will melt the styrofoam and look more like she died from getting acid thrown on her face
