just a tip for the clay-leaf DIY, if you want the print and lines from the leaf to show more, you should use the back of the leaf instead of the front🥰

Yup. And also, if you spray release agent on the INSIDE of the bowl and lay your clay inside to bake, you don’t lose any of the precious design that you gently ‘pressed’ against the flat surface of the outside of the bowl. But yours still came out very cool!

Another leaf tip... Wet the dry leaf a little and that softens it and makes it more malleable, and you can get the ridges and veins more clearly on your clay. Speaking from experience after doing ceramics courses in university.😊

Turn your leaf over and put the back directly on the leaf. That’s where the veins are and they will indent. Use whatever pressure needed to get desired results.

I did similar pumpkins using velvet and dried navy beans, over the years they've kind of lost their shape so I'm going to pick them apart and redo them this year, that's a really neat aspect of this project, so easy to refresh them. Also, I used real pumpkin stems that I found on the ground at the pumpkin patch and dried in my oven.

I have recently downloaded several prints for mere dollars to add some seasonal colors to my home and am thrilled with the new look. I don't use glass either if the prints can take on an oil painting look. I also add brush strokes with acrylic gesso (or even mod podge) to create the look and depth of an oil painting. It really give them authenticity! This was a great video. Love the frames and love the way your taste is becoming so classic. It lends itself to so many decorating styles! I really look forward to your videos!
