Love the riser, especially the beaded ones. An easy way to paint beads is to stack them on skewers and paint or spray paint. Quicker and less messy.

It shouldn't matter WHERE you get your stuff. A majority of your stuff is from the Dollar Tree anyway! In MY opinion, you should get your stuff where ever you can find the pieces. Dollar Tree doesn't always have what you post. So, if you find some of your stuff at Hobby Lobby or Michael's, then so be it. I think you do a great job, so keep helping us!!!! Sending love!!!

I'm in Michigan now, and people laugh at me because even tho I lost my accent, they still ask me if I'm Italian and from New York!!! HAHAHAHA. I totally understand what you are saying. You can only do so much. The Dollar Tree by my house doesn't always have what I'm looking for. I have to go at least 30-40 mins from where I live just to find what I'm looking for. Just keep up the good work. I'm making some of the things you made. I did post a comment on when you made the bowls. I figured out what I did wrong. I didn't use CHALK paint. LOL. I make those risers too with hobby lobby wooden beads and they are so pretty as you said and EASY and I stain mine and paint some then sand the painted ones a little for that distressed look! Everyone wanting to try this should do it

I dont always use DT items. I use alot of hobby lobby and walmart items to make diy decor. Ive made some risers from the wooden lids from candles. I used wood beads for feet and the lip I covered with twine from walmart. Never thought of wood beads to go around the edge, but I will. Thanks for sharing your creative ideas. I love watching you. You give me inspiration. Keep it up. Give Pepper hugs, shes so cute. Makes me want to get another fur baby.

Dollar Tree isn't always the best for craft supply bargains. I find bargains in lots of places. Besides, there are so many DT DIY tutorials, it's refreshing to see something else. In the end, it doesn't matter as long as you are happy with your project and you paid less to make it than buying it from a high end store...that's the whole point. Love your channel so much! I saw someone use the black round mirrors and they painted them white added the beads in the groove when you flip the mirror over then sandwiched it between the second mirror which the mirror was painted over so you don’t know they are mirrors. All DT if people are interested. Love your wood risers. I’m definitely making some of these for some of my plants, candles, decor. Thanks

For the last riser that you did, you can use 2 of the DT round mirrors!! Saw another YTer make this. Week’s Nest did it last week. And she painted it all white. Super cute too. But I LOVE the size of yours! And I also love the non-DT DIYs for versatility.

These are so pretty and great! I saw Sunbury Housewives put beads in a plastic bag, added paint, laid them out to dry, and bam, a bunch of beads painted to the color of your choice, no mess, no fuss. Tyfs Bethany, love these risers.

I like to use cabinet door handles. I have tons of them around my house but I did just make something and wanted specific ones and they where 2.98 a piece at Lowe’s. I’m sure you can find them at thrift stores or even Walmart cheaper. I also like to use stain. My whole house is grey and white so I actually mixed 3 colors of stain for all my furniture and shelving. We make almost all our tables and shelving so it’s easy to get everything the way I like it. It’s nice having a husband in construction he brings me home left over wood.

Very cute. I've made one of the round risers using a round from Hobby Lobby and love it. They are perfect for adding height to objects you display or setting plants on. I haven't tried putting the beads around one yet and think I'll pick up some more beads and rounds this week.
