Thank you for the shoutout and nice job dialing in the stance! I definitely have a large headlight section for you! We are on shelter in place orders but I will get that to you as soon as I can. I look forward to the truck and shop build! Congrats on the house too!

I just recently found your channel. I love old cars, including VWs. You make cool videos not to mention that I'm a Nine Inch Nails fan, this is the perfect content for me. Keep up the good work my friend!

Banding material. Metal banding material conforms to many shapes. (Accurately with magnets...rare earth magnets preferably.) Takes a scribe scratch easily and doesn't tend to rust. So drill a hole and *Sharpie info on it and put it on a wire loop for the future and/or passengerside. Friends come to me on the off chance already have it on a loop or can help them make their own. Hope that helps...really cool project. 😀👍

Hey. I love this car. Thanks for sharing the adventure and the work. Lotta fun. Maybe give us small updates on any changes and upgrades going forward?. I like your style, and look forward to the future projects. I just bought a house myself, and though it has an attached garage, it needs work. New floor and finishings. Can’t wait to see the pickup and watch your garage go up. Glad to be a follower of your work. Keep well out there.

Hi. I just found your videos and LOVE your work! DIY excellence! You are very talented and it is great that you have the skills to complete such dynamic mods! One other comment is that for my taste the original mag wheels looked better than the black steel. Obviously, not to you - excellent work and congratulations! Wish I could do the same. I have a not too different project I would like to do, but lack the skills. Peace and Cheers! 😊

My parents bought this identical car new in 65 when we were stationed in Germany. I have been looking for another one. It's probably better as a Mazda anyway but I would have kept the original dash. Let me know if you'd like to sell it.

I don't know if you fixed your window handle issue but if you put a gear on the spot where the crank handle was and run a chain down to another spot where you can mount it with another gear( I kind of had bicycle parts in mind) then maybe you can leave the crank handle on it permanently I dunno its just my two cents

I really like how the ride height turned out and I really like the wheels/tires. I’m not going to lie, I was wondering how that would turn out and what you would choose to do with it.

Still waiting for a proper burnout video filmed from outside the car. Awesome job I also have a type 3 Squareback . Stock engine 50 year old suspension, slowww. I so wanna do a frame swap to a v8 but my car body is so rust free.

Really need the montage, I missed most of the episodes! I can't remember if it has Miata engine and radiator or not. It does have an all Miata suspension I gather and probably a lengthened Miata chassis. I just prefer the squarebacks to the fastbacks. Just like I prefer notchback early Mustangs to the fastbacks. Nobody much younger than me seems to remember how the Mustang notchbacks wowed Americans in the fall of 1964. You might remember the introduction of the Ford Taurus in 1988. It had a very similar effect on the public. In my case it felt like: "Finally, an up to date car!"

Kind of sad to see the project "end" I figure I have two more years on the Molvo before it can be deemed "done". Looking forward to the shop build, don't do wool floors this time, it scared the hell out of me when you were welding on the wood floors of the last place.

I have project ADHD lol. And good point about the wood floors, I would never do that (again)

I've had a couple of squarebacks and really liked them. They were stock. I can only how much nicer the Miata conversion can make the car. Great job! I am not a fan of the rat rod look but to each his own.
