What if you put a brand new door knob on and after assembling it and closing the door, the knob is locked, but the lock on the knob itself spins freely? I’m pretty sure I assembled it wrong, but I’d like to know what to look for so I know how to fix it.

I took both doorknobs off, the inside of the latch mechanism fell out. Nothing left but the latch that won’t budge, so I can’t open my front door. HELP!

I have an issue where when i unlock the door with the key, the key turns all the way (almost complete circle) and when this happens it mis-aligns the interior lock knob. Is this something wrong with the latch itself that I could replace just that, or something internal in the lock mechanism?

That sounds like it wasn’t put together correctly, OR something on the inside broke. And idk if you can buy just that part. Sorry.
