No particular order required, I did it from the lowest to the highest number

Sounds like the display maybe busted, but this doesn't cost anything and it's quick to do so definitely worth a try.

I did it when it was not running but you can do it whilst it's running too. Give it a minute or so and then reinstall the fuses, if that did not work turn off the car and back on again. Another thing is make sure you have a good battery and it's holding charge as I have been advised a poor battery will impact this as well.

sorry to hear that bro, not quite sure bout the temp cluster, possibly a bad temp sensor?? could be the cluster itself as they do go bad

@@4WheelBuilds somehow it fixed itself, removed all the fuses put them back one (did not work), let it sit for a day and i wanted to remove the cluster itself to see if its bad - put the key in ignition and it worked. Maybe it's rare to happen but just disconnecting the cluster then connect it worked for me thanks for the video though, learned a lot about how to check fuses since i never did before

Will be trying my luck with this soon. Sadly engine doesnt start and I have a dead cluster. Pulled fuses already which were all good but being that I've not bee able to turn over the engine it makes me wonder if it needs to receive engine RPM then turn off then turn back on to fully reset if not pulling the cluster to look for burns. Really weird car/ process.

Check to see the state of your battery too to make sure it's got good charge. For me I think the battery also contributed to the problem

If I get a used cluster would it have to be programmed to the car for it to run?

No I believe these clusters are not that advanced yet, just keep an eye on the speedo to make sure the max speed is the same as on yours

No you dont need, just buy the same brand, if your clustar is motometer or bosch , just buy the same, and 4cyl-6cyl works fine ,mayde you will have a bit different reading in rpm (at red line) if you put 6cyl to a 4cyl car/engine but thats it.

Had same issue yesterday, all powers n ground are making it to the cluster but its just dead. Bad cluster

Possibly a component burnt out on the circuit board. The clusters are quite cheap unless yours is from an M3.

Yeah, just put all fuses back and trying to start the car, not doing anything special.

sorry bro, ever faced this problem and not sure what you can do to fix it, try putting an new battery if you have access to one from a different car to see if it changes anything. Other than that if you tried the 10,34,43 fuse from this vid there might be an issue with your cluster. Any of the viewers out there faced the problem and could help here? If you fix it please share with us how you did it.

Check you grounds and your battery terminal connections, this would be a suggestion to start with. Anyone else had this issue and fixed it?

Yes, you can do this while the car is running, if the instrument cluster does not respond try switching the car off and with the fuses removed

The sequence I followed was from lowest to highest, but if that did not work try a different one some wrote earlier that they tried a few times and only after a few tries this worked. It may also be something else that is not fixable by reinstall of the fuses.

When I did it, I had the car off, removed the fuses, started the car and reinstalled the fuses whilst the car was on. That did it for me.
