DIY FRENCH COUNTRY SHABBY FARMHOUSE TIERED TRAY & DOLLAR TREE DIY VINTAGE & DECOUPAGE BOOKS (171)

In this video I show how you can create budget friendly, french country shabby chic farmhouse decor pieces using some repurposed items! The first project I create a tiered tray using a cupcake stand I purchased at a yard sale for $2. This video is part 3 of a series of videos featuring tiered trays and how to style them! I show how I take things from home and repurpose items I previously used on other projects. I use books that I repurpose from a previous DIY video project and show how to decoupage a free printable from the Graphics Fairy website and use distress ink to recreate some vintage inspired books.The books I used can be purchased from the Dollar Tree or thrift stores. I used mod podge to apply my graphic and show the technique I used to apply it to the books. I embellish each book with ribbons, wooden scrolls and keys. I can use all of these items to decorate my home for all occasions! I showcase the tray with several vintage items along with some florals. I print out free printables from the Graphics Fairy website and use Gorilla spray adhesive to attach them to the tray. I also show in the video many options for items that can make great additions styling the tray. All of these items and supplies I already had on hand. I'm trying to recreate things so we do not have to leave the comforts of our home and up cycle some pieces you may already have on hand without having to spend a lot of money or purchasing new pieces. These trays can be embellished and styled so many ways and for all seasons and occasions. These shabby farmhouse trays will make great additions to any french country, shabby, farmhouse vignette in your home for the upcoming fall season.
