I realize that this is an older video but, thanks for posting it, it answered all my questions! I don't work on many foreign cars in my little, part time shop but, my brother recently bought a 1999 Avalon. Because of how he drives (and God knows when the brakes were last done!), it now needs front pads and rotors and, I've never done this particular brake job. I was wondering if it needed Allen or Torx bits like some vehicles do and, was really concerned if the rotors were screwed to the hub! Since I DO live in the rust belt, I was very happy to see that it doesn't have any of that! TRUST me when I tell you that you DO NOT want to deal with rust like we have! Now, if only he has the key for those locking lug nuts...are Toyota aluminum wheels REALLY worth that much?!? Anyway, thanks again for the video, it really put my mind at ease.
