If its LED compatible, you can use any gel polish in all honesty (Hi licensed nail tech in SC) and as long as you cure completely (i normally do 60 seconds for customers, 30 seconds for me since i wont be taking my hand in and out the light) you can use any brand, like kiara sky, dnd, perfect match, or gelaze (are the ones i use the most)

Thank you for commenting this! Another tech on my previous video scolded me for mixing and matching so I made it a point to clarify in this video. 😬

@@TheBeautyVault You're welcome! Most people dont know because they themselves do not or have not done nails, or may not have taken the time to do their research before commenting, and its frustrating, because I am a nail tech, to see so many people uneducated on how to properly do nails. @SoinLuxe5 жыл бұрын
hey girl! great vid, but just a tip. When you file the surface of the gel to prepare for it to be soaked off, file it until just until you start to barely see your nail. You obviously don't want to overfile and end up filing the surface of your nail, but you want to get it thin. Doing this literally cuts the soaking time in half and you won't damage your nails as much when you scrape it off. The method you use right now is not wrong, but the white lines on your nails is from the surface of your nail coming off with the gels, and taking the edge of the cuticle pusher to lift underneath the gel to peel it off will really ruin your nails in the long run. Normally the gel breaks apart in little chunks and if you file it enough, it comes off effortlessly. You can literally take it off with your finger nail with little to no pressure and there is no damage!

You've really inspired me! I went from regular polish (chips right away) to DIY fake nails (they damaged my nail bed & I'd always be gluing them back on) to an LED light & doing my own gel nails with my natural nails! I personally have a huge stock of old polishes & I am using the Sensationail polish to gel 'transformer', which allows me to convert any of them to gel! I love this system, my nails last a week+ (worst case, I get some peeling) and I enjoy doing it because curing is so fast!!! Thank you thank you thank you 💚 P.S. You do an AMAZING job! 💎💅
