Looks great! Definitely the right choice to go with the higher roof. You can hang bikes from the ceiling.

These are my favorite kinds of projects! Talk about a blank canvas! Absolutely agree with you on cutting the notches out of the brick. Those tedious jobs often result in the best results! Very excited to see how this all turns out. Congrats on taking on a project like this. Can't wait for more :)

One thing to consider for the back, depending on how much space is above that dropdown ceiling, is a pre-fab metal grate mezzanine. Remove the ceiling at that point, have parts storage on the top level, accessible by a spiral stair, and workbenches below. Double the workshop area footage by going vertical. (EDIT: Oh, just got to the point where the ceiling is gone. Nice choice!)
@diyhuntress3 жыл бұрын
That’s a cool idea! We have an idea for the back space and also some bike storage and have some special forces coming in to help. Can’t wait to shareee. 😁 And yesss… removing the ceiling was a game changer 🙌🏼!

The white paint does make it look a little flat. Would you consider lightly sanding it to bring a touch of the brick texture/color back? Either way its an impressive project!

It’s going to be a product wall, and it’s going to have a custom installment, so it’ll make more sense once it’s all together. 😊

Wow love the brick wall. That’s some project your taking on and I can’t wait to see the progress you make. I noticed the slabs on the floor, I’m going to say counters? Based on your design style, this space is going to be bad ass and with the removal of the drop ceiling was the best choice. Looking forward to the future vids and IG updates. Best of luck on this journey.

We had to glue these, so not this application… but the one I installed in my brother’s office space was attached with Brad nails and can be removed! That’s in the Office Nook Makeover video on my channel. 😊

I was hoping for a unique way to deal with drop ceiling in my apartment rental ! Love the look of just yanking it out, but think landlord would not ! :/
