What do you do if you have a cricut explore one which doesn't have the double pen and blade?

I haven't worked with that one, unfortunately, so don't know for sure, but you might need to swap the pen out for the blade once it is done writing?

Hi Kelly! First off, I need to mention, I love your voice.. I have another question and I am a bit confused.. Please forgive me if this sounds dumb, but I am still trying to learn.. Using your example of the gift tag. If I were to just place the small circle and select basic cut, won't it just cut out the circle? Or do I need to use the slice and actually remove the circle like you demonstrated? I hope that makes sense.

Hi Mike! Thank you! It definitely doesnt sound dumb at all - learning any new skill takes time, be easy on yourself! You will need to either slice and delete the dots it makes, or attach the circle to the tag if you want the little hole cut out, both will achieve the same result 💚 The latter just being the easier option with fewer steps

Where can I find different colors of this paper for gift tags?

You should be able to find cardstock online in places like 12x12 Cardstock Shop, as well as at most Stationary stores!

I find that when I do a project with both pen and cut it does the writing ok but then when it goes on to cut out the pieces it only does a little bit then my machine just stops. So frustrating 😫 Any tips?

You can in two different ways : use the outline as a basic cut line, or use print then cut to make the gift tag!
