i tried this out and it worked really well instead of paint pens sharpies also work you just gotta make sure to layer. anyways I had a tad bit of trouble trying to get the white box to stay while in the phonto app and what you do is hit the share icon in the top right of the screen and hit use then it will pop up on your screen :) hope this helped someone

interesting diy! i'll definitely try it out sometime. i have a few tips (alternate methods?) though: - reverse the reference image so that the marker text would be behind the glass - instead of using shutterfly, laminate the sheets or use enamel spray

Nice video! Tho you could've saved bond paper by stacking the printed pictures of the play button, say, three screen shots of it in one paper, then cut it or just fold it. You can also use Microsoft Publisher instead of Phonto, they do the exact same thing (except the opacity part). More of this please!

a tip! i would recommend reversing the the piece that you are painting and THEN printing it out. after you trace it, you can just flip it over and trust me, it looks soooooo much better and cleaner.

i did glossy!! and the picture quality was good. just make sure that when you save the album cover picture to your phone, the picture itself is good quality. as long as the digital image is good quality then the printed picture will be good!
