Thanks. I will have to see if our Walmart stores carry them. Separate ? for you... where did you purchase the 14mm acrylic beads and the 20mm silver tinsel balls for the angel ornament project that you have done? I have only seen the 19mm tinsel balls and that is from the outside radius. I have looked at Walmart, Dollar Tree, our Dollarama's and of course Michael's.

Absolutely beautiful!!! I just love this color you are using ( or colors). I am for sure going to make some of these. Thank you so much for sharing. I think these could be made in a simple tree shape. You know like a triangle with straight sides. It would be easier but l really like the star. This blue one is turning out yummy!!

To get to the star shapes on the TimVandervall site [I couldn't find a search bar] I selected 'printables' from next to 'Home', then selected 'shapes' from the left hand menu, then kept selecting 'older posts' [6 or 7 times] until the star templates appeared.

Another option in lieu of the stiff felt is to buy Pellon Ultra-stiff Stabilizer. It's usually around $3-4 a yard. Very economical compared to the felt :)

You're so welcome! I have been watching you since I first found you when you had just posted your second video. I was a fan instantly! Yes, I need to post something with ribbon! and glue! and GLITTER!! and BLING!! I've been trying to put in a little more than beading and napkin folding. My crafting is broader than that, I promise, lol. I have just been having so many ideas in that category lately. I tend to craft in waves, lol. I am planning a bead charm for Christmas that incorporates ribbon, Does that count? hahaha.... I think if I made a video every day, I still couldn't utilize all the ideas running through my head right now. I also think your ribbon scrap stars would be fun to do with washi tape!

Tip: When I'm crafting and using glue or paint, I always lay them (the bottles) down on their sides or upside down; they're always ready, no shaking to bring it out. Also, I've made these & similar projects; when I do, I don't put the ribbons in the middle, I put them near the ends, leaving a 4" leftover scrap instead of 2 2" scraps.

Hi Melissa! You can pick up this exact beading thread at JoAnn's or Michael's. I have seen them at both places. The gold is not stretchy, but the silver one is. I didn't mean to pick up the stretchy kind, but when I got it home, I realized I had picked up the wrong one. I didn't want to waste it, so I hung onto it and I'm using it.
