💫✨💖✨Absolutely love this craft !!!So pretty.20 + yrs ago I took toddler jeans coveralls and soaked them in starch shaped them by stuffing the legs with shopping bags . After they dried and were stiff they stood on their own I sprayed them with polyurethane a couple coats really well. I still have them. They look great I put a coffee container in the body and fill with flowers and butterflies. Also put flowers in the pockets. It’s also weather resistant as I had it on my open porch the first couple years. I was inspired by a Carol Duval craft show. I loved her. You’re amazing and I appreciate your talents.✨💖✨💫

Yvonne, love your hats. I personally would have gone lighter on the hat it's self. I like lighter colors. The hat was about the color I prefer! I love the hunt! 😂 There is so much satisfaction in finding a piece that is inspiring. I love house actions, garage sales, Goodwill, and a second hand local shop. Our local shop has tons of glass, porcelain, and candle sticks. I feel lucky. We found two huge crocks last summer. I paid 15$ & 12.50$ a piece. These were the old crocks you made dill pickles in. I was over the moon. I had flower arrangements in them on my front porch. Some lady came by and offered 100$ for the larger one. I refused, and she got angry. I moved them to my fenced back patio. I just had a feeling! 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing! ❤❤❤

It is so beautiful. I spent 28 years as a Marine Corp wife and I learned if you want stiff just take the starch straight....no water. Marines do that to one of there caps and that's how I learned this little tip. Yours looks wonderful even the little one.😊

My sister-in-law used to use a product to stifffen ribbon. She also used it for straw hat “wreaths”. To help shape the hat, she would use a plastic bag with newspaper in it or stuff it with plastic grocery bags. Just turn them inside out so the store logo doesn’t imprint on the inside of the hat. I have used liquid starch straight from the bottle to hang cloth on a wall like wallpaper border. It was messy, but cleaned up with soap and water. When we took it down, we sprayed an all purpose cleaner on the wall and the residue wiped away. Your projects were much better than the wall looked! They are so cute and unique!

I love Faultless products. As a young girl I had a neighbor who crocheted doilies. I don’t mean little doilies, these were dining room table size be cause I was so young Ethel wouldn’t let me do any of the stretching by myself. But we used almost the same mixture you used. We put these onLARGE PIECES OF CARDBOARD USING THUMBTACKS TO MAKE THEM GOOD AMD STIFF. SHE SOLD THESE TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY AS SHE WAS AN OLDER WIDOW LADY. THANKS FOR MAKING THESE MEMERIOS COME BACK AFTER ABOUT SIXTY YEARS. LOVE ALL YOUR CRAFTS. HATS ARE GORGEOUS! nana Brenda
