DIY Greenhouse Seed Shelving

Great idea using bottom legs to give you more width space for your shelves. I'm definitely stealing that move when I (eventually!) build my own greenhouse. 😁 Thanks for sharing the simple but effective process you used for building the shelves. I took away some good tips! You must be really pleased with the results. So much room to grow and lots of different ways to use these shelves. Excellent job, Helen!

Thanks! I probably won't need the bottom shelf of them, but I thought I'd make them 3 shelves high just incase!

Nice build Helen and the additional support will stop the trays falling on top of the other once full of compost, water and the growing plants. Best fit the wire ASAP. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.

You are a DIY goddess Helen! Clever idea to use screws inside the frame to rest each staging on! I would have struggled with holding it and wishing I had another pair of hands!

What a great idea for seed shelving. Been looking at some staging for the greenhouse and might make something similar myself. Where do you buy the wood from ?

It's c16 wood used for construction, but I got it free because it was being ripped out of a build and I asked if I could have it because if you cut out the nails the rest is very usable!...I love recycling!..... wood is expensive!
