Congratulations to the mastermind Helli for the great idea and project execution. His love and dedication to perfect woodworking can be felt in every second of this video. Congratulations also to the man behind the camera, Alex Horvath. Great shots, exciting closeups, pure emotion. Caution: Excessive enjoyment of this video is addictive. Your HAMMER advisor will inform you about risks or side effects. Last but not least, a personal thank you to the team for the opportunity to moderate this video. Was great fun. Harry Tschu

I have a B3 and an A3. I make solid wood furniture and use the shaper (spindle molder) frequently, it was really nice to see such a safe, well thought out home made guard used when pattern copying on the shaper. The chair also has a very pleasing design, sparse, nice lines, good construction.

Nice work ! One question : for the radius milling you fixed a router miller to the spindle moulder shaft. My own C3-31 has an non removable shaft, is it possible to adapt collet chucks on it ?

Unfortunately, this is not possible with a permanently mounted spindle.

Very nicely build....but build an infrared element into a chair and cover the element up with a cushion is a recipe for burning down your house. Even if the cover is removable...a child plays once with the switch while the cover is still on and you have a nice fire starter. Read instructions from an infrared heater....it states to not cover it. As nice as it looks I feel it is a safety risk.
@berndstrauss1512 жыл бұрын
As corrective action I suggest to re-edit your video as soon as possible and cut the parts with the infrared heater out...it will be still a nice video Felder alway puts great emphasis on safety of there machines...then you should put also safety on top priority if you build and advertise items made with your machines If you want to say thank you for preventing Felder from a PR disaster ...I really like your cnc machine 😉 Feel free to remove my comments when the relevant people got the message and acted accordingly.
@singe812 жыл бұрын
I think you are incorrect. Felder have specifically chosen an infrared heater for safety. It won’t cause a fire.
@berndstrauss1512 жыл бұрын
@@singe81 even if this would be the case ..they would have to specifically point out what you can or can not install....just to make sure that everyone gets the message that there is a fire risk if you use not the correct equipment....that didn't happen....as the video is directed at hobbyists the video suggest that building a heater into a seat is a great idea....and that is not the case
@singe812 жыл бұрын
@@berndstrauss151 if you follow their instructions, then it’s fine! You’re suggesting that someone might change the design and incorporate a wood burning stove onto the seat and that would be felder’s fault?! 😆
@berndstrauss1512 жыл бұрын
A hating element that is used in an electric blanket would have been the right choice...this element go only to about 30 degree(depending on model)This resistance element are also used in car seat heating and could have been build into the cuishins ( You can buy this silicon coated resistant elements in every better sorted electrical supply business. ..they are also used to defrost freezer drainage pipes and so on). An infrared element is designed to transfer heat via ....well ...INFRARED/light. So if the light would shine directly at you, you get the heating effect. If it shines like in the video on cuishons you are warming up first them. If this material is now easy combustible you have definitely a fire risk...and not a very efficient heating as well as the cuishins act as insulators.
