Thank you so much for this tutorial😊 I've made several sweaters now and always struggled with the loops. Now I finally know how to do them properly😍

Yes!! So many other videos just brush over the hard parts and expect you to figure them out. So I wanted to make sure this was detailed!!

This is amazing. Thank you so much for this tutorial ❤ Does the sweater have to be knit material or can it be cotton?
@aspenlynoutletАй бұрын
Any loose knit works best for yarn. I use 100% cotton knits and they’re fantastic but if you want to try a cotton crewneck then a weight 3 yarn or like a DMC thread would be perfect!
@JennyNguyen24Ай бұрын
@ thank you! If using weight 3 yarn or DMC thread, can I still follow the same stitching method? Sorry for the questions, I’m new to the stitching world!
@aspenlynoutletАй бұрын
@@JennyNguyen24you definitely can! If you’re using DMC thread you will want to tie off instead of doing the whipped backstitch though. As it won’t hold. But if your garment is tighter weaved like a crewneck then knots will stay secure! I just don’t use DMC thread as much anymore so I have no videos on it!

Thanks for the tutorial. What font size are You using for your letters? Specifically a 0-3 month or 3-6 month sweater. Thanks!
@aspenlynoutlet4 ай бұрын
It depends on the garment. I like to measure the sweater from armpit to armpit and subtract 2 inches! Usually it’s around 7-10” long for a newborn sweater!

Could you please tell me what font you have used? Thank you ❤

Can this be done on a sweatshirt?
@aspenlynoutlet2 ай бұрын
It can but be careful with the weight of yarn or floss you choose. Some sweaters can handle weight 4 yarn but are hard to pull through. I would recommend DMC floss if you’re going to do a sweatshirt that isn’t a loose knit!

My jumper is crispy where I washed off the sticky solvy.. any ideas why? I washed it off with warm water
@aspenlynoutlet3 ай бұрын
I would wash it again and make sure you soak it and then rinse off all the residue to comes from the soaking. I like to throw mine in the washer for a cold delicate rinse if you have one as that seems to get everything off!
