This is great! May I ask how to attach the dot of your "i"? I can never get mine to weld together.

Hi Andrea, if you can't connect the dot of the I I would take a little strio of paper cut thinner than the dot and then glue that to the back of the "i" and then glue the dot onto that. Does that make sense? You could also add a jewel instead. Hope that helps!

leslie tavares Hi Leslie, it’s all a matter of testing it on your machine. I depends on the thickness of your paper and how thick each layer is. In my experience, the thicker the paper the more chance you have at getting a bad cut. Depends on so much, paper weight, mat tackiness, blade, etc. Also it depends on the machine. Mine is an older Cameo and probably won’t cut as well as the cameo 3. I would experiment. Only way to know 😉 hope that helps! You can also use a spray adhesive, if you don’t want to use glue. I have a more recent video in which I use it.

Hello, I have a silhouette cameo and when I use the glitter paper, yardstick, etc. the letters stick to the mat. When I try to take them off they tear. What paper are you using/settings should I use for cameo?

Hello Ms Jerlady! I have had those same problems. I find that if the mat is too sticky that will happen. I like to use an older mat and would rather use some tape to secure it in place than using a very sticky mat. As for paper I do not use the paper that releases glitter. I look for the smooth glitter paper that has no glitter mess. It is way easier to cut and no mess at all. Recollections used to sell a smooth glitter paper but I haven't seen it a Michael's for a while. There are other companies that sell similar paper here is a link to one that is similar to what I have used amzn.to/2tcDCHa I also do a double cut and used the heavyweight cardstock setting on my machine. I have also used glitter vinyl and glued it on to a lightweight cardstock and then cut it out that way. Hope this helps! Good luck :)

Hi Chote, I actually use the Silhouette Cameo. But any model Cricut will do the same thing. It's all about preference. There are so many electronic die cutting machines now but essentially they all do the same. You can create almost anything you can image or purchase files that are available already. Good luck finding the right one for you :)

What blade did you use? I have the Cricut Explore Air 2, and my letters just come apart. I tried so many times. They either rip or come apart.

Hi Selina, I used the regular blade and adjust my settings to heavy card stock. Sometimes if i have issues I will do a double cut with a lesser pressure and speed. Also make sure your blade is fairly new and there is no debris caught up in there and the mat is fairly sticky too. Hope that helps. I use the Silhouette.

Hi Gyu, not sure how to help you. You need an electronic cutting machine. If you have one make sure your blade depth is correct and that the speed is also adjusted for the paper you are using. Also make sure your mat is still sticky to prevent the paper from sliding around. Hope that helps!

Have you had problems cutting anything else recently? I haven't heard anyone else having problems. Try cutting again using a different brand of card stock or even using a new blade might help.
